  • The Puppet Planet animation show  intends to spread out a powerful but sensitive message about the future of our planet to the international community. In a susceptible manner it calls all of us to be more committed to tackle the climate change problems of today and promote a more inclusive and sustainable development.

  • By using puppets and new media technologies, the Puppet Planet show is intended to reach a broad audience of all ages, but is mainly target for children and the youth; the decision-makers of tomorrow's world.

  • Initially, the show will be performed to governments and delegations during relevant UN conferences. Furthermore, it will be demand-driven and able to respond to requests and invitations from governments, schools, and other partners from the cultural, environmental and educational sectors.

  • There are good opportunities to link the project with other social-environmental responsibility projects, advocacy initiatives by NGOs, cultural festivals etc. in order to multiply the impact of its message.

  • The show has been created to be performed in non-conventional spaces such as schools, community centres as well as in public or private sector institutions aiming at sensitizing the civil society at large. It can be performed in both urban centres and rural areas.

  • The show has been created and will be performed by Liviu Berehoi in both English and French; it will last approximately one hour.

  • A value chain can be derived from the Puppet Planet show and creative products can be produced around the show for advocacy and educational purposes.

  • The originality of this project is its contribution for strengthening the local creative economy by fostering creativity and education through cultural entertainment to the population in developing countries.
